another ranting.
no thanks to the exam coming tml. and kudos to those people who made me think my life sucks to the core.

i wonder if is it me being pessimistic or that people around me just seems so ... ... ... lucky?

there are many things which i dont have answers to. being me, with those matters, i can only live my life as it is. i can say that no one exactly know what i am going through, or how my life have been so fucked up till now. you might find that i am complaining. yes, maybe i am.

every other time when i hear other people complaining about parents not giving them enough money, no time to do this and that, why people treat them like that etc, sometimes i feel like giving them a piece of my mind. Your life may be bad. BUT you are just ignoring the fact that someone close to you is not, and that to me balances up everything.
there are also other times when you hear people say how well you perform in this, how you get this and that, i envy them, and wished to be like them too.
then there were those times where you just feel that everyone forgets about you. you see their friends putting in so much effort, trying their best to come up with something memorable for you and when it's your turn, it's just like a go-and -forget thing. and i wonder, how many actually remembers? i just dont get it. am i so different from the others that i dont render any kind of effort? or do all of you take me for granted thinking that yes, i wont mind, or thinking that since it is already over and done with, there is no need to bother anymore?
MAYBE i sld take another chance. MAYBE. and i shall see next year AGAIN. will i continue to be disappointed? i highly think so.

seriously, i have no idea what the future will bring for me and i do not want to know. though i wished for a change, i am not sure if that will happen for me. and it is times like this is where i am only able to express how i feel in words, not spoken. consider me to be someone who doesnt know how to look at the bright side of life. i may live everyday as it is, or probably be someone who jokes and appear okay/nice to everything. or mayb you think you know me very well but you might be wrong.

all these might sound confusing but they are all my thoughts. and probably no one will ever know.

yes, i know it's been sometime now. in fact, a very long time. i doubt anyone would read this anyway. it's too dead.
i am not coming back permanently to blog now, it's just because i feel like writing something now. Just a sudden impulse.

School's horrible. An ad analysis next friday and i cant seem to find a good ad i think would be suitable for that. And i tell myself that i must finish, if not half way by tues. Qns! too many Qns in my head..... have to ask professor....
speaking about him, he could have more time management. eating into our consultation time and ending classes at 6plus instead of the supposedly 5pm is too much. i am experiencing information overload and mental blockage in class. how am i supposed to concentrate?! sucks.
everyone scrutinizing you isnt something nice too. i am sure i will be like very nervous and starts jumbling what i want to say.

ahh welllll.. i just cant wait for the holidays to start. yes, that would mean exams are over but that also signify the beginning of the new term soon. we will get our results and then might regret not doing better. i for sure hope there is some improvements in this semester. i cant afford to drop my GPA further. i need the honors. if not it would be a waste of my 3 years here at UB. yes it will.

now, i am experiencing mental block...........................
yes, lets talk about school. too many work to do, it's just like having 5 modules when i only have 3 and i thought that semester was the worst. apparently, Caucasians professors make your life more difficult. but then again, i love their eyes and accent. ok that is my admiration for them. (mental block..............................) and then there's work. ahhh work! one of my colleagues are leaving soon after she graduates from uni. so i'll be alone there with the newcomer, not knowing how she is like yet. i believe it should be someone that could lasts. it isnt easy for me to communicate with someone i feel i have a barrier with and sometimes i just dont feel like talking. i wonder how i can survive. but then again, i have always thought of quitting and finally leave weekends free! untouched! i'm day-dreaming. that can never happen. without this job, i have no means of survival, i will rot in this world.

i have decided to put my feet down in something. i shall never falter and become someone that should have been in control right from the beginning. outside, i cannot and will not want to know what happen. but when i'm in, i am in control! i will give the last say and there is nothing you can do about it. i know this will invite unhappiness and grudges but i dont give a damn. i want my place to have nothing to do with this and yes, i will stand strong!

as much as i want to change my mind and study dentistry now, i know that it is not possible. i am really grateful that someone would offer to sponsor fully my trip there and i do understand the rationale behind it. i would gladly take the offer but you were late for a few years. dentistry takes 5 years of study and clinical exp together and i know i do not have the time for me to start over again now. too late and i truly am disappointed. this is one chance for me to actually secure my future but it seems i am not destined for it. i imagined how it would be like and i liked it. but it is useless to say anything now because i know i have no more chance.

i would love to continue and it seems i typed whatever is bottled inside me for a long time. it has already been some time since i am able to type continuously for so long and i think it did helped me feel better :) now off to bed to continue my reality.

my holidays are left with one more week and 5days.

i recently finish reading yakuza moon, a very inspiring book based on the life of this particular japanese girl who is the daughter of the mafia there.
it makes you wonder how someone's life can be like that.
nice book.
next, twilight. am onto the 3rd book now. waited damn long to get it. almost finished and i hope to get my fourth book soon. online orders take too long.
havent watch the movie yet. sld do so one of my free days.
Bella Swan is so indecisive!!! and Edward is being just so nice.
i support Edward, shirl! haha.. Jacob can be so scheming sometimes?

looking forward to the trip next monday! hope to get some stuff back.
need to relax big time. can feel that school life is not far away.

i watched x men origin: wolverine and taken last friday.
both are GREAT shows!!!!
taken made me so kan chiong. if not for the bloody idiot brainless asshole who kept kicking my chair, and still cont'd kicking when i turn around and told his bloody hell idiotic useless ass friend to stop kicking, i might have enjoyed the show more. shitheads. 3 guys somemore. can it get any worse?! pui. the mere thought of them made me boil. horrible people.

PEOPLE! i'm back to blog again! hopefully....
wondering who still check back to see if i had any new posts?

i'm having a 3 weeks break from school now, thus, explains spare time in blogging.
was very caught up in school work the past semester, thinking that 5 subjects was still manageable but it got so close to burning me out.
but it's the holidays now!!
time to enjoy!

shirl's 21st b'day just passed last Saturday! as usual, we went out to have dinner together.
though we didnt take alot of pictures until we slacked a bit at Macdonalds.

Restaurant City is kinda addictive.

3 weeks is not a long time.
this week is almost gone, had to work a few days other than my normal weekends next week, and i'm left with 1 more week before its studies again.
siannnn.
not to mention, 3 21st b'day coming up for may!!

when people say:
when the going gets tough, it gets tougher.
things wont come your way, you have to be competent to achieve it.
it's too late when you realise what went wrong
but you cant hurry to amend, you'll have to wait.
maybe luck's not on your side.
and when the time comes, hopefully everything will be ok, with 101% effort put in.
and you'll have no problem telling other people I DID IT!
though it took a little longer than usual.
ahhh.. depressing. but no choice.

i finally decide to blog!

school had already started for almost a week now. many would think the first week should be quite slack but truth is, it's exactly the opposite.
With every new class, comes new course outlines, with projects, quizzes and assignments written all over it.
it makes people feel stressed thinking of the amount of work to be done, deadlines to meet.
The CNY hoilday week doesnt make it any better when most assignments and quizzes are due right after CNY.
Another thing to add on the my already stress-ed out brain would be bloody damn expensive textbooks we need. Not to buy them, but to source and hope you are SO lucky to find someone to sell you second hand and the exact SAME edition that is in use.
well, i guess that's school life.
it's time for time management!

Today (15-01-09) mark a new experience for me!
i finally got a chance to donate blood! in school, since they are holding this drive.
i made sure i ate like a meal before going for the donation. if not i would kena reject again like last time when my haemoglobin level is toooo low.
I think that the whole thing it's quite fun. Minus the giddy feeling, seeing stars and turning pale for not going home after that to rest and instead went to walk around town.
i'm not going to take the iron supplements they provide because i dont really believe in them. What we used to learn was the supplements provide us with wayyyyy too much of that particular thing they provide.
I didnt get to know my blood type too. which was kindof disappointing because that's partly the reason why i wanted to donate.
anyway, it's a very good experience for me.
go donate blood people! save lives!
hahaha...

i spend too many time travelling to and fro school. that's almost 3hours each day, considering i have classes EVERY DAY of the week, it's 15hours doing nothing!

i've moved into my long-awaited new house on monday.
couldn't get an internet connection because of the new home telephone line.
no more nice 444-9090 for house number.
blame it on Singtel for charging DOUBLE to transfer the same line.
transfer so hard meh?! retain number so difficult until must pay double!!!
crazy blood suckers.

anyway new home telephone number comes with many different numbers.

still lacking some stuffs and furniture. sofa, my bed, kitchen stove etc.
so now cant cook, cant bake yet.
i finally have an oven!!!!!!

school is starting so soon. another 2 weeks time.
cant bear to imagine having to wake up sooo early in the morning.

most have already moved out so my block is quite empty.
empty flats = insects and rodents partying.
i can spot more cockroaches and insects around etc etc.
i need a new bed because my room cant squeeze a queen size one. small room!!!
no queen size bed = no rolling around the big bed as and when i like.
need to start packing but i havent got the time.
after much planning, the 9th is the ONLY day i have!!!
seriously hope i can finish packing everything!!

christmas is round the corner.
it's the jolly season. i could hear all the songs playing now.
it would be better if s'pore could snow.

one sad thing was that my thumbdrive spoiled!

Last weekend was a new experience for me.
was a marshal for the Subaru Impreza Challenge Regional Face-Off 2008
even though our job title sound nice, it's basically just watching those participants stick their right palm on the car decal and not moving them around.
right.
so for 11 hours i stood there watching ppl on Saturday. with few minutes break in between.
They stand, we also stand.
at the start, most of us have a straight face and kept walking around the designated car.
slowly we began to make small talks with the participants and even joke around.
it's kinda nice. There are nice people.
Kudos to those participants. standing 24/7 all the way except the 5minutes break they get every 6 hours.
Aiming to get te $80,000 Subaru Impreza 2.5L Manual car.
$80,000 okay!
it's worth the win i think.
if you can tahan 3 days and more.

time to choose next semester's timetable.
so far another 5 day week after all the planning.
and 5 subjects to clear.
well, shall see how.

here i am blogging in school.
got back my mid terms results.
overall still quite okay, just that maths need more improvement. got a C grade.. many careless mistakes! imagine me writing 20÷10=10! argh!
and the teacher blames the class for talking too much. most of the class failed.. cannot be loh.. i think must be ppl don't understand him. i think he's not very good at teaching.
my next lesson is at 3.30! nothing to do in between breaks.

i have 3tests next week!

realised that it's been there for a very very long time.
but then again, it's not easy to find time to do it.

my mid terms are like almost over. there's still another paper coming i think next week.
wednesday was like my worse day i had 3 subjects all in one day.
essay in the morning, maths in the afternoon and this comm subject that have all MCQ Qs but not that easy at all.
was so stressed out on tuesday trying to squeeze everything into my head and wednesday for revising whatever i had.
everything was over at 4pm and i've never been that happy, even though i had to go to work after school.
haha.

to reward myself, i decided to skip this lecture on thurs!
so i had time to visit my new house that i've been saying i'm gonna move into since last year. BUT i'm gonna do so this dec!!!

yay i finally got hold of my ever-so-busy driving instructor.
had not been taking lessons for like the past month.
can die lah lost touch already and my tp is like next month.
*keep fingers cross*

mid terms is like next week and i got many many things lined up few days before the exams.
sunday there's a birthday to celebrate.
monday an outing to fulfill.
tuesday one quiz and lesson at night.
wed is the last day of the mid terms but i have 3 freaking subjects tested on that day!!!!
tuesday i can get ready to burn my midnight oil already.

my face is peeling quite badly coz i got sun burnt over the weekends.
now my legs are starting to shed their old skin.
i finally got like darker after so many futile attempts at sun tanning.
now i know best is to go kayaking!

i didnt know i was allergic to this certain sun block.
but it gave me swollen lip and ears!!!
thus, off to the doc and given MC.
so i've actually been to the doc twice in sept already loh.

have alot of things to complete.
one assignment to be completed by today so i can get it printed.

September is ending soon..

i kinda have a love hate relationship with the month September.

first, ALOT of friends i know are born in September. so that will mean lots of celebrations! which is realy nice.. because we can all get together.
then, because there will be celebrations going on, spending power increase too!
and i understand how karen always tend to have a hole in her pocket during September.

it had been a great month! minus the 4 days that i was confined at home due to my pox.
most assignments, quizzes etc are done.
mid-term is coming in 2 weeks time.

the first cake i had. with many thanks to my colleagues!

Attended YanNing's 21st B'day Party on the twelve. held at a function room. i think all of us were there. so it's like a biggg gathering for us too..

on the fourteen of September, i went for the KPE run. the place was PACKED with people. so 'ronnie ron ron' was there together with her friends too. but we didnt get to run together. i was kinda surprise to find 3 packets of instant noodles inside the goodie bag. running through the tunnel is kinda humid even with all the fans on. at some part they off the lights to show the lanterns. i believe 'ronnie ron ron' have more pictures. wait till she updates... i wonder when will it be.......

dinner at Marche then a cake bought for us by dear Karen.
we had the cake at those open spaces within Vivo. and we got a shock when small cocoroaches came out of nowhere.
and we laughed like mad.

at the moment, i'm taking a break off from typing my essay.
after being home-bound for 3 days ( because of chicken pox) , i cannot take it anymore.
i want to go out so much!

really super bored at home.
even though i can do my essay and study for my quiz.

i missed 2 lessons. so i hope i'll be able to catch up lah.
for the past few days i've been living on porridge, rice, pork, vegetable.
that's about all.
cant eat chicken, eggs, dark stuff. basically i cant eat most foods loh.

i went to Sentosa somewhere two months ago i think.

i didnt spend much on any attractions because someone happened to work there!
staff can get free entrance for almost all the attractions. good staff benefits.

First Stop: Dolphin Lagoon! the show is like i forgot how long but it's not worth the price.
Pictures of Butterflies. the one above shows that there are butterflies with two gender mixed into one. although they are very very rare.

more pictures of butterflies. there are so many species of them. i have more pictures but shall just post a few..

this is the picture i mentioned in one of my post. it shows the development of a shark from an embryo to a small shark. and they are alive!
some worm sticking out of the sea bed. they look kinda cute..

jellyfishes!! and they are so translucent that they glow according to whatever colour light is shone on them.. pretty things.
saw this shark while on the travellator, not very sure if this is how you spell it but you get the idea.

dewgong! sea mermaid! and it's munching on veggies..

last stop at sentosa. watched this animal encounter show at the amphitheatre. nice show.

saving the best for the last. this is the sea angel. found only in the artic, survivng only in water with very very very low temperatures. they are really tiny so there is actually this magnifying glass on the glass panel itself so we can actually see the sea angel swimming around. it's really beautiful, graceful and elegant but the camera doesn't capture how it's really like.

i had like 100 over pictures and most of them are like on the animals. haha.

i feel like it had been a very long time already!
i will have 15weeks for this semester.
that's like roughly 4 months.
i suppose life's gonna be tough.
i checked the semester timetable and every week there's bound to be quizzes and assignments due.
just hope i'll be able to juggle everything that i'm doing now to this new addition to my life: mugging.

mental note to self: study wayyyy beforehand so i can catch up. no last minute work/ studying!!
gotta push myself. cant afford to fall below average or even average.

so far after 3 days of lesson, it's still kinda okay..
just that there's this one subject, the lecturer dont smile, dont talk much and the whole lesson was so tensed.
not really a very good learning environment.
just hope it wont take a turn for the worse on friday.

i did the calculations and realise that i at most at most can get 1 or 2 C+s for the modules i'm taking now.
my GPA have to be 2.5 and above to move on to the next semester.

i think everyone is anticipating my post on how my orientation went....
hahahaha.

ahhh anyway, normally orientation would have those team bonding, teamwork games.
mine was no exception.
just that it was held at Simei ITE.
that's so bloody near my house.
hahaha.

my morning started with me SQUEEZING with the crowd on the train. then as usual there will be a few not so considerate ones just pushed all their way in.
so anyway i left my house late so i thought i would be late but i actually reached Dover at 8.30am.
was kinda lucky because i only had to wait a few mins before the bus arrived.
8.45am+ : reached the place i'm supposed to report.

9.30 to 11.45am: some guy from UB talked about UB ( ya that's the only thing he can talk about what) and couldnt really understand because the sound system is damn lousy but he had the accent!!! then there's a small break in between then more talk by academic adviser i think.

11.45 to 6pm: toured round SIM, took chartered bus to Simei ITE, started raining. Did station games then rain stopped then to swimming pool for rafting.
started to rain, event cancelled.
wait for bus to go home!

that sums up my orientation day.

the other days 5pm!!!!

had been spending my national day well.
first went trekking at the new trail somewhere near mount faber then all the way walked and walked and walked and walked to kent ridge park then till somewhere near buona vista.
nice trail.
you see HDB everywhere. along the nature trail.

oh then i visited Sentosa a couple of weeks ago.
there's this display at the underwater world where they show the development of the shark's embryo.
live display. every embryo and small baby sharks are alive.

been away from this blog.
didnt felt like going online for the past few days.

i received my timetable and all the other forms from SIM.
my semester is all the way till the first week of Dec, where i will have my exams.
depending on which tutorial class i'm in, i'll have either one or two days where my lesson start at 9 and in between i'll have a 4 and 1/2 hr break.
and on friday, i'll only have one lesson and it's from 9-11AM.

i'm fascinated at the size of my antibiotic pill.
it's not normal okay.
everyone i ask say how come there's such a biggg pill.

watched Red Cliff recently.
and i hereby delcare Zhuge Liang and Guan Yu my idols.
nah.
just admire them only lah.
Zhuge Liang played by the takaeshi something japanese guy. not very nice looking in those olden apparels but being smart in the movie, nobody really care about the dress sense.
like joker in dark knight, also my idol!!
Guan Yu on the other hand is a like super righteous person so righteous that i dont think in a modern society like now there ever could be another one.
then there's ZhaoWei inside too. the one who acted the princess show then suddenly became so famous. i used to like the show but then never liked her.
anyway this movie dunno cost over US$8million or billion that they need to separate into two parts to earn back box office $$.
at least that's what i think lah.

i mentioned earlier i wanted to work my ass off for the one and a half mth before my school starts and i got my wish.
instead i should get my ass off and start my running routine again.
now i wished i hadnt really wished to work my ass off.

for the past few days my body is in chaos.

foreign body/bodies called antigens manage to invade into my immune system.
so finally my idling lymphocytes got to work.
they fight hard against those undesired antigens that somehow managed to find their way in.

during the fight, lymph nodes start to enlarge as they are actively fighting against the harmful bacteria.
my Beta-cells tried their best to produce as many antibodies as they can and the receptors on my T-cells unfortunately could not recognise and bind thmselves to those antigens.

somehow as those antigens are getting stronger and stronger, killing all my lymphocytes, my overall body temperature increased, increasing my metabolic rate as well.

i hope it'll be better after the 2nd trip to the doctor.

but stuffs there are more on the expensive side.

finally went down to SIM this evening to settle my fees.

it was only this afternoon i read that i can actually mail those reply slips and cheque over but then i already planned my day so yeah....

went on ahead.

and i'm proud of myself okay!

i went alone!!!

i'm not very good at going to places for the first time you see.

i dont exactly have a very good sense of direction as well.

although i went there once but then i dont remember how i got there the other time.

anyway!

i was there and the office was right smack near the entrance.

and i thought it would be hard.

saw lots of animals.

polar bears, tortoises that are so huge, white tigers that have blue eyes and pink nose.

there this show with the manatee.

slow moving creatures that are round and flabby.

they look so kind with their small eyes and all.

polar bears!! this one here is 500kg i think. he is like twice as big as his mother.

can you spot the frog? the frog looks cute. i think i cannot stand round stuffs.
anything round and small or look fluffy and spastic looks cute to me.
remember the baby seal last time?

a painting by an elephant. they sell these for donations to help save them.

bigggg giant tortoise. size couldnt be seen in the picture. but it's like a coffee table size. i think. anyway it's huggge.

tree snake. nice color but due to the flash which i forgot to off so the color is abit off. it's supposed to be bright green.

yap min went to Perth today.
so we were all there to send her off in the morning including seng guan.

i was so determined to sleep early last night so i would not be so dead during work today.
but then everything didnt go quite as planned.
end up i only had like maybe 5hrs of sleep.
thought of coming home to catch a few hrs of sleep before work but i was too tempted by MacDonalds breakfast.
thus i chose to sacrifice my 1 hr of sleep.

i was soooooo busy at work i didnt have any time to rest or feel sleepy.
time just flew past.

today was Yamaha anniversary lunch at this Pioneer Spring Restaurant at Safra Mt Faber.
well, one thing can be concluded from this lunch.
and that is Yamaha is VERY rich.

food was good and so was the door gift.

can go catch it if you want a good laugh.

tomorrow gonna have dinner with min they all before she is leaving for Perth.

let's see.
my life mostly consist of work, stay at home when i'm not working and so on.
i'm getting lesser and lesser days for my work.
ya right. who wants a part timer during the weekdays when you can have two new full timers?!
anw, i'm getting abit too used to working there so i'm abit bored.
i wonder if this will happen next time when i get a full time job.
but still, my weekends are working days.

i've finally set foot in this Astons restaurant opp katong mall.
i HIGHLY recommend anyone who wants to have affordable western food!
their main courses range from $6+ to $11+ i think.
they are famous for their steaks lah. it's a steakhouse actually.
but they do sell other main courses like chicken and fish.
you get to choose your side dishes too.
but the queue always gets very very long esp during peak hours.
but then they're quite fast except the serving food part.
but then to have good food, you need to wait.
two thumbs up!
it's one of my favourite place to dine in now.

i cant wait to start school.

right again.
there wasnt really time for me to blog recently.
so that explains the lack of posts.

as you guys know, or dont know, i had been at the IT fair recently promoting compaq notebooks.
i've only been there 3 days so i could actually earn more!!
i've met some really nice customers and some that is not so nice.
i've heard one saying that they regret buying after they see the need to queue sooo long to get their notebook.
then dont buy lah. it's so crowded use our ass to think also know need to queue long what.
anyway payment is made so you die die also must wait until you get your notebook.

on a lighter note, new friends were always made after each show.
then we would go for dinner after the last day.
and some are seriously young lah okay.
youngest 15yrs hor.
15!! look at me, gonna be 20 this yr.
at least we're not the oldest.

i conclude IT fair is a very good way to lose weight.
you will have to eat breakfast before you start work because there is no time to eat any time of the day.
then the next meal would have to be after the show ends each day. about 9.30pm?!
plus you have to been on your feet the whole day, talk and talk like nobody's business.
but i like the job.

for the past 3 days i've been eating mac for breakfast, mac for dinner, HK cafe for supper and dinner. notice, there's no lunch.
HK cafe sells cheapskate maggie mee but some of their western and hor fun is nice lah.

sunday was a special day because we went to send xin off to perth.
she's gonna be gone for 2 yrs!
and might be a PR there.
next time wanna see her must fly to aust liao.

so reached airport at bout 730am.
we passed her this scrapbook that contains all the photos we had taken bfore.
it's not really easy designing the book.
drained us off all the creativity juices we 3 had altogether.

hahaha.

we didnt have a lot of time to do it too as we were too busy with our own stuffs to meet up together.

our picnic on thursday! as you can see we're almost done with our food.
there's fried fishballs and buffalo wings marinated by karen, fried bee hoon by wen qing, healthy salads and fruits from jenny, macdonalds new spicy nuggets and the cute pink mat with strawberry prints by janice and sandwiches plus french toast by me!
not alot of pics taken because mainly we were too hungry.
so the moment we saw the food we started eating.
when we realise we forgot to take pics, the sun had already set.
the flash from janice's cam is too strong. haha.
on a random note, there's this weird emo guy near us that day.
we all came up with funny situations as to why he's out of his tent and kicking stones into the sea etc etc.

i'm still not over with my obsession with penguins.
it so happened that my house have the 'happy feet' movie DVD!
so sis and i watched it and we kept going 'AWWWWWW SO CUTE!!' everytime we saw those baby penguins.

today had been a depressing day.
but i went to look for my ingredients for sandwiches for our very own Js and Ks picnic on thursday!
looking forward to that!

yesterday was a nice long day shopping around orchard area.
got myself another pair of m)phosis slipper.
i think their slippers are comfy. haha.
plus i can wear them to work on weekends instead of covered shoes.
i even thought of getting another pair of formal shoes.
which is something i should stop thinking about because i've been over-spending on footwear recently.

walked pass bakerzin in wisma and came across their MACRONS!!!
wanted to take a pic of them but 2 were gone when i woke up.

i got 4 of them in lychee strawberry, black forest, strawberry vanilla and blueberry.
their kinda expensive selling at $1.50 each not inclusive of GST.
they crumble when you bite on them and it's quite sweet.

turns out that somebody had been hiding so many things from us for so long.
and when somebody else is so anxious looking for a solution to the problem that somebody just quietly kept his mouth shut.
now thanks to that somebody i predict our future will be worse than ever before.
and to think that somebody still have the cheek to ask me so what am i going to do for that problem.
maybe if you had been more responsible way earlier on, things wouldnt turn out to be the way it is now.
i wonder if as time goes by, you will lose all respect that i had for you.

i havent settled my driving stuff, i'm worried about the whole SIM application thing and some important day clashes with my job at the IT fair next week.
all the bloody things just come one after another like what the hell and i'll mess up the whole stuff and make a mess out of my already messed up life.

so i went and submitted my application for the Bachelor of Arts in Communication, University of Buffalo in SIM.
the whole cost of this degree is a problem.
$57,000+ for 3 yrs. i must be very mentally unsound to go for this course.
but i shall see how it goes.
may i get many many many many exemptions.
now why didnt i do better for CSAS back in TP?

there're a few modules that i might get exempted from.
like introduction to psychology, introduction to internet (like anyone need it anyway. who the hell dont know how to use the internet?!), human nutrition, nutrition in practice and the lab sessions.
hopefully all these plus the electives i might not have to pay so much afterall.
but i think it'll reach about 40K?!

i need a one month temp assignment for the month of july.
doesnt help much but at least it's something.
shall scrimp and save for the whole of 3yrs.

UOL A&F
UOL B&F

want the part time course but i still think a full time one suits me best.
and is alot cheaper then UB's.
as for A&F and B&F, is more of the job prospects after graduation.

but my mum seem to want me to go for the full time comm course.
which i am actually more interested in rather than the other biz courses.

i have no idea why the moment we step onto sentosa ground last wednesday, it started raining.
how suay can we get?
and it wasnt even raining few days before.
met some friends over there! like michelle, rachael and peiling!
we waited for the rain to subside at the monorail tation.
while doing that we tried playing with the ball. and then i tried aking lke lots of pictures.
and sharon doesnt know how to use her mum's camera.

moved on to the beach when the rain was slightly lighter.

played a little volleyball.

the ride that i took. it's alot like a giant swing actually. only it swings like very high. i got freaked out when it was slowly moving up.

it's this pub where seats are wheelchairs, surgery tables as tables and liquor served in syringes, blood bags or in milk bottles.
there we met a few caucasians who seem to be very fascinated by this pub's theme.
they sort of entertain us by pretending to be really wheelchair bound patients.
funny people.

the view inside. they only have seats outdoors if i'm not wrong.

the drink inside the blood bag. you're supposed to drink from the tube.

this drink come in shots glasses with a slice of strawberry. the color is really nice, too bad my phone cam is not good enough.

alright, i guess i should update my blog.
it's been stagnant for quite some time now.
sharon's loooooong post is so intimidating.

so let's see....
yup havent been updating on march at all.
life is getting on as usual..
weekends i'm always working part time @ yamaha.
some classmates are already getting full time permanent jobs.

xin's b'day was on the 4th.
havent celebrate with her yet coz most of us were busy.
xuan having exams and me busy with upcoming event.
find one day to go out okay!
and xuan we havent had our k session yet!

so 7th march friday was Laser Challenge at TP.
which lasted till the next day morning.
a very fun event to see how each group play.
especially the championship match.
the winner get 8 GV tickets okay..
that's like a lot.
can watch until siao.

during the event, saw an old friend.
and through the conversation we had i am surprised at how some things can turn out.
things that were not delightful at all.
ahhh oh well.

anw, after the event, slept for like 4hrs at home before going out for dinner again.
this time with people from bedok.
went for the steamboat buffet at bugis. the food is so-so only leh.
but the serving portion of the meats were quite big.
so no need to keep taking.
we smell-ed like walking steamboats after eating.
and so we went orchard, finally settling down at starbucks.
where we started talking about ghost stories in schools.
haha. i suppose each school have their own ghost stories to tell.

10th of march marks the end of our Major Project!
fou-fou arranged an appointment to meet up with su lin at NUH to pass her our report and to show her our database as well.
we had to meet fou fou @ 10am in the morning coz we need to print our report and she said to claim from her.
she couldnt come with us due to last minute committments which we knew later on is because her daughter's ankle was swollen.

appointment with su lin was at 3pm.
so jenny and i were left with nothing to do from 11am onwards.
sharon still had to work half day so she didnt come to school.
both of us decide to go tamp walk around. and also to take some stuff i left at work.
haha. it was 'lucky' i went back to take.
sharon's sms then came as a surprise when she said she was on the way to buona vista.
so we hurried to take the train there too.
maybe it was heaven's will to let her reach earlier.
cos she later told us that the shuttle service moved to Dover.
it saved us having to make extra trips.
thanks uh sharon! haha.

when we met up with su lin, we discussed about the report and the database and so on.
then we sort of have a little chat whereby she start asking us what we planned to do now.
everybody is asking this question nowadays.
but i guess it cant be helped.
overall, she was quite glad with what we had done for our project but the chat got me, and i suppose sharon too, thinking about what to do next.

after NUH, we went to bedok to meet our clique for dinner.
the other time we were saying we wanted to try out the steamboat buffet (yes i know, steamboat buffet like again) beside botak jones.
so we went there to eat!
it was a nice gathering and nice weather to have our steamboat!
then we proceeded to the library where i borrowed a book, author reccommended by shirleen.
it's a nice book!
i wanted to start reading so a nice book to read is just what i need. i remembered the last book i read and re-read was actually Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Dan Brown's books.
next up, to get sweeney todd book!
we had a little dessert at mac before going home.
that's when we decide to go out on wed!

tues onwards i was in chalet at Pasir Ris for 3 days. however, it was raining for the 3 days but we managed to still have a BBQ.
two nights of BBQ. and mahjong sessions.
a chalet to have everyone gather together and just enjoy ourselves!

it was also during chalet that results came. got Bs and a C.
feeling quite okay with my results except maybe for MP.
but then everything is over.
my bloody GPA only increase by a teeny weeny bit. which i thought it would increase more than that.
now i guess i have no more hope of entering uni already.

i know min and sin ee want to watch right.....
haha..
i just realise we dont really watch movies together de lehhh.

the day is practically spend slacking around until the evaluators come to each specific project at an allocated time.

first day our whole family went vegetarian. grandma happily packed two containers full of vegetarian dishes after having lunch at her place. i think i still prefer some meat dishes coz basically vegetarian stuff are made of flour.

bloody ass i forgot my marked cover letter and resume end up i had to go home and take.
the trip cost me $8+.

it will mean all must be done before the 11th.
else there'll be no time to touch up on the day itself.

last thursday and friday was the ASc captain's ball competition.
we had been taking part since yr 1.
so this yr would be the last time.

as usual, there's always those damn rough people and teams which we all cant stand.
oh, and this yr they allow a maximum of two guys for each team.
so we had seng guan and jin long on our team.
and caoahian got shouted at during the competition lah!

past week was a packed one.
sunday-monday was my trip to m'sia.

term holidays started last week.

i dont really want my paper back.

took off from work on saturday just for studying.
but i end up studying only about 3 topics of ND.
i am neglecting my FSM.
shall chiong finish studying them on tues and wed.

i found out there's like 2000+ students at yamaha.
that's like alot.
and i sorted out all the calendars for the students today.
so imagine me sorting out 1000+ calendars.
it's one of the few tasks that kept me like AWAKE for first half of the day lehhhhh.
was hoping to study abit while at work but then that would make me drowsy.
end up i didnt really study today at all.

since tml is an afternoon paper.
shall study till the wee hours tonight.
if my eyes can take it that is.
it may just close anytime.
else tml i shall wake up EARLY to study.
but i doubt i will do that.
not really a morning person as you all know me.

i cant wait for the 23rd! but before that, maybe for this week to pass by asap.

celebrated caoahian's 21st b'day on sunday.
wah biggg event there's like catered food and stuffs.
i guess it sortof served as a gathering for AA32 too.
almost the whole class was there and we had fun and lots of laughter playing around with the damn 'nerdy' specs caleen bought along.
and she had this SUPER BIG cake with the numbers '21'.
wait till i get the pics.

then there's this surprise for her today after lecture.
my bus didnt broke down, jenny wasnt late due to work and there's no meeting with fou fou today too.

some photos during our 'cooking' practicals..

it's been some time since we did some cooking for our labs.

these are from ND and FSM labs.

the lunch and afternoon snack we planned for a patient suitable for NDD level 3 and nectar-liked liquid foods.

porridge with last minute add in minced chicken.
stir-fry spinch leaves with button mushrooms.

steamed tofu with minced chicken.

banana and papaya milkshake.

egg and cheese sandwich.

watermelon juice.

foods turned out quite okay.

loved the lunch.

but the sandwich and drinks need a little more improvement i think.

but anyway, lab is loooong over.

can see the other group's meal behind.
haha..
the mushroom sauce is really nice.
both of our group are more of the normal meals kind. so we were like the only ones trying what we cooked.
the others had like pureed food which is although not very appealing but then there are patients who eat them all the time.

our jap set meal for FSM! supposed to have like 4 servings but our chawanmushi too much so in the end had 5.
japanese fried rice moulded into triangular shaped rice balls.
teriyaki chicken.
stir-fry asparagus with soy sauce.
chawanmushi as appetizer.
japanese mochi as dessert.
though our mochi is not the ice cream kind but i still think it's nice okay.............. (:
during evaluation, tutor say taste for all is okay EXCEPT the fried rice being tasteless.
and our asparagus is kinda over cooked.
portion size was commented to be too little.
so need to increase portion size.
that means also increase our costing.
our costing is already like almost 7bucks already so expensive who will buy?!?!
but then i dont understand why our chwanmushi cannot put in cups.
put in bowl very ugly lehhhhh.

progress interview was one of the shortest interview we had so far. i think.
half an hour but we had lots of things to do after the interview.

we have to learn how to bloody use macros in EXCEL.
we even borrowed books from library to read up okay.

this sem, i feel like a business + medical student.
FSM, how to run a cafe, recipes, food to serve and all.
ND's like writing case notes and evaluating patients.
now we have to learn how to be IT students.
so all-rounded.

didnt manage to finish up our work at Giant today.
coz the cam i borrowed from my friend wasnt working.
then i heard from grp mates that the manager did not look too happy seeing us.
i wonder if he's kindof stress up at the moment or he's like really dont want us in the supermarket.

i realised not many people blog recently nowadays.
not like last time where we would expect to see new updates every now and then.
i guess everyone's busy with MP and stuff.

my hands ache like mad after training on thurs due to overworked hands on push ups.
my hands bloody long never do push ups already lah.
plus, jenny and i went to the gym on fri!
all girls gym day!
there were nobody when we went there though.
all treadmills were spoilt except for one. quite pathetic uh.
after that i went to play badmintion with ACians 'cause they were there.
feel so shiok.
consec two days working out!

sat after work was this 'spooked' dinner at SHATEC SHA VILLA with one of the ACian's cousin as the chef.
it's quite funny 'cause we dont really see each other in smart casual wear.
it's like usually we're in shirts and shorts.
anw, the place wasnt 'spooked' at all.

work was weird today.
so many funny questions and requests.

tml we're going back to Vivo's giant to snap pictures like mad.
i think we all dont really like going there being kindof extra copying stuffs off the shelves and taking pictures, which in total takes up alot of time.
and i think everybody will think what we are doing there.
taking pictures and doing the data at a later part will save us more time.
HOPEFULLY we will finish by tml.
WE MUST!!!
then we no need go back to that horrible place again.

alot of things have been going on since after my camp.
lots of things to blog about but dunno where to start.
and i hope it wont bore all of you because it's basically what i've been doing these few days.. or weeks.

school's starting in another 2 days.
but mondays are for MP so i guess not many of us are going to appear on that first day of school.
it's been like 8 months since we've lessons.
i quite miss school actually.

kayaking changed date and i have a dinner on the 27th.
at first i thought i could go kayaking then on the way to the dinner.
so my leavewould be on the same day.
